Updated schedules for residential and home care will apply from 1 July 2024.

Note: The Residential Care Basic Subsidy (AN-ACC funding) and the 24/7 RN supplement will now be updated on 1 October 2024.
Change to maximum permissible interest rate (MPIR)
The MPIR will increase to 8.36% for the period 1 July to 30 September 2024 for calculating:
residential care accommodation prices
interest on refunds of accommodation lump sum balances.

What you need to do
You must ensure:
your accommodation deposit approvals are up to date
your accommodation prices are correct and up to date on your website and printed materials
your accommodation prices are correct and up to date on the My Aged Care portal.
