Preparing CHSP for the Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct for Aged Care was introduced in 2022 in response to recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.

While the Code does not currently apply to CHSP activities, it’s important your Reform Readiness Plan identifies actions to address the Code when it is applied.

This 3-hour webinar gives you an understanding of the content and intent of the Code, its application and implementation.

It's an opportunity to put your organisation in the best possible position by preparing now.

By the end of the session you’ll be able to:

✔️ Explain the Code of Conduct + its application to current and future services

✔️ Recognise the key elements and types of conduct covered by the Code

✔️ Communicate to your key stakeholders details of the Code and its contribution to delivering safe, inclusive services

✔️ Identify what's required to ensure your CHSP service understands the Code

✔️ Explain a banning order and what it means for your organisation

✔️ Access resources to support the effective implementation of the Code.

Who’s it for

CHSP leaders including managers, coordinators, team leaders, quality and human resource personnel. Board or committee of management members also welcome.
